Myrmicaria melanogaster

Myrmicaria melanogaster is an arboreal nesting species of the Myrmicaria genus. Nests are composed of detritus and soil. Typical of this genus, Myrmicaria melanogaster is monomorphic..

Myrmicaria melanogaster worker. In the species the coloration is much lighter than is typical of Myrmicaria melanogaster.
