Aphaenogaster

Aphaenogaster are monomorphic ants with thin workers not too different from the thin minor workers of many species of the Pheidole genus. However the Aphaenogaster workers at around 6 millimeters (and larger) are generally larger than those of the larger typical Pheidole species with minor workers measuring around 3 millimeters (TL).
