Aenictus sp

There are two distinct types of Aenictus ants in this location. The first more common type is slimmer and lighter in appearance and are faster runners. Aenictus wilsoni belongs to the second type. As typical of this genus, this species is monomorphic.

Of all the species documented here in this blog, Aenictus wilsoni is the most sensitive.
