Calyptomyrmex

Calyptomyrmex is a genus of slow moving armored ant. Calyptomyrmex is monomorphic and monogynous. This mid size ant measure at slightly over 4 millimeters.There is a recess on both sides of the head behind the antennae that allow this armoured ant to withdraw their antennae similar to Cephalotes turtle ants but Calyptomyrmex lack spines (thorns). Calyptomyrmex are subterranean ants whereas Cephalotes and Cataulacus are arboreal ants.

Mystrium camillae.

Mystrium camillae belongs to the sub family of vampire ants Amblyoponinae. Many speices of this sub family are specialist hunter of the geophilomorph and other small centipedes. Mystrium camillae are slow moving ants.

Mystrium camillae is polygynous and polymorphic. There are three morphological expression in the workers caste.

Odontotermes Sp3.

Another Odontotermes termite species. The soldiers are monomorphic and are 8 millimeters long. This species resembles Odontermes longignathus but is smaller and shorter. Odontotermes longignathus measured at 10 millimeters (12 millimeters according to recorded documentations).
