Pheidole sp

This is another average medium size species of Pheidole ant with major workers at around 5 mm and minor workers at around 3 mm.


Here we see that one major worker (center) is actually larger than the other (left) but this however do not qualify as dimorphism  in the major worker caste as sometimes this happens due to nutritional differences
