Pachycondyla amblyops, a Pachycondyla species that look like a cross between Pachycondyla and Leptogenys. This mid size ant measuring 8 millimeters hunts both alone and in packs. Not too common among the local species of the Pachycondyla genus this species hunts as much below ground as it does above.
