This Tetramorium species (sp10) is the smallest I encountered, measuring at 2.3 millimeters. Unless examine closely it may easily be mistaken for Cardiocondyla (see last photo in this post). Cardiocondyla is a species of tiny ants mostly below 2 millimeters in total length.
