Mirocapritermes sp2

This species of Mirocapritermes (sp2) is smaller (shorter) than the first (previous) species posted in this blog.  Mirocapritermes sits between the Termes genus (and group) and the Procapritermes genus. 

The genera under the Termes group of termites has symmetrical left/right mandibles while Procapritermes genus which previously was also classified under the Termes group is now under the Mirocapritermes group as of those with asymmetrical left/right mandibles.
