This is the second largest species of Odontotermes genus that I have encountered in this location. The head of the soldiers measured at around 4 mm approximately 0.5 mm shorter than that of Odontotermes longignathus which is around 4.5 mm. The total length at around 9 mm is also shorter than that of Odontotermes longignathus at 10 mm.
